about

This album combines two of Don Pedi's early recordings.
The first, "Saturday Night" was recorded in 1979 & 80. It was originally released as an LP. The album chronicaled music shared by friends throughout the 1970s.
The second album in this compilation "Mountain Magic" was originally released on cassette in 1988. It includes additional friends from the seventies as well as Don's first recordings with long time music partner Bruce Greene. Of interest to contemporary style dulcimer players are the selections played in chordal , cross picking and finger picked arrangements.
